Part of the subject property is submerged land, and according to the U.S. Geological Survey map the upland areas of the subject property, those being areas closet to SR-24, have elevations of approximately five to fifteen feet. However, no detailed topographic map of the subject property has been provided.
The current zoning is F-RR (Forestry/Rural Residential), which would allow development of single family residences on 20-acre lots. The potential “Highest and Best Use” for the site is a Planned Unit Development (PUD). This would require the subject property be rezoned to accommodate on-half acre and one-acre lots for development of single family homes. There is also protential for a golf course to be designed into this parcel.
